These terms explain how buying from Scentaholic works. Scentaholic is a perfume business run by Ufuoma Godstime in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. By placing an order with us you agree to these terms, together with our Delivery & Returns policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
1. How ordering works
- You choose perfumes on this website and send your selection, or a question, to us on WhatsApp.
- We reply with the price, availability, delivery fee and total cost. Prices are always confirmed in Naira (₦) on WhatsApp before you pay.
- An order is confirmed only when we have agreed the total with you and received your payment. Until then, either of us can cancel without cost.
- If a perfume turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we will offer you an alternative or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
2. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on request because stock and supplier prices change. The price we confirm to you in writing on WhatsApp is the price you pay.
- We accept payment by bank transfer, or another method we agree with you on WhatsApp. Please only pay into account details we send you directly from our WhatsApp number +234 816 020 4493.
- We will never ask for your card PIN, OTP codes or online banking passwords.
3. Authentic products
- We sell authentic fragrances. If you believe a product you received is not genuine, contact us and we will investigate. If it is not as described, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Brand names, product names and logos belong to their owners. Scentaholic is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands unless we say so.
- Photos on the website are for illustration. Packaging, bottle design and batch codes can vary.
4. Custom scents from the Scent Lab
- A recipe you design in the Scent Lab is a request, not an order. We will confirm what we can make, the price and the timing on WhatsApp.
- Custom blends are made to order for you, so once production has started they cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty.
- Small differences in colour and scent between batches are normal for handmade blends.
5. Using perfume safely
- Perfumes are for external use only. Keep them away from eyes, children and open flames, as they are flammable.
- If you have sensitive skin or allergies, check the ingredients and try a small amount on your skin first. Stop using any product that causes irritation.
6. Our responsibility
We take care to describe our products accurately and deliver them safely. We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, as Nigerian law requires. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for reactions caused by using a product other than as directed.
7. This website
- The design, text and Scent Lab on this website belong to Scentaholic. Please don't copy them for commercial use without permission.
- We try to keep the website accurate and available, but it may occasionally contain errors or be unavailable. If we find a mistake in a product description after you have paid, we will tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
8. Complaints and governing law
If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We aim to reply within 24 hours and resolve complaints within 7 days. If we cannot agree, you may contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC). These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
